Stonehenge is a well-known Neolithic period stone monument located on the Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England. It is administered by English Heritage and forms a World Heritage Monument. Another more extensive stone circle is located at Avebury.

Stonehenge is known to very many people and is on the top sites to visit on the UK and maybe even Europe for many arranged tours. The site is conveniently situated between two country roads making it very easy for loads of tourist buses to drop their load. While the view from the A303 is quite nice, otherwise there is not much chance to get a glance from outside the fenced area.
