![]() Get inSedona is located approximately 90 minutes north of Phoenix, Arizona. ![]() Get aroundA rental car is a must, as public transportation is nonexistant. ![]() SeeSedona is home to a bustling downtown and vibrant arts community, but the real attraction is the surreal, red rock landscape. ![]() DoBuy an inexpensive Red Rock pass from any gas station or convenience store, and you'll be able to park at or near the trailheads for some of the most spectacular hikes in the United States. For a challenge, try Cathedral Rock. It's steep, but the view is unparalled. For a more laid back stroll, park near the end of Verde Valley School Road, and walk the rest of the way to Oak Creek Crossing. Other notable hikes and walks include Broken Arrow and Bell Rock. For mountain biking, stop at the Bike and Bean for bike rentals, equipment, advice and friendly service. A Pink Jeep Tour is a fun way to see the red rocks if you're not in to hiking or biking. Feeling adventurous with your rental car? Take a drive up Schnebley Hill Road just before sunset. It's unpaved, narrow, steep, bumpy and recommended for those with four wheel drive only. The Pink Jeeps will take you up here, but it's much more exciting to make the trek in that rental minivan. Not only will you have a bird's eye view of Sedona, but you'll also be treated to the sunset turning the red rocks pink. ![]() BuyTlaquepaque is chock full of restaurants and artsy shops.
