Most of Indiana is on Eastern Standard time. In the past Indiana did not observe Daylight Savings Time during the summer, effectively making it on the same time as Central Daylight Time in the summer and Eastern Standard Time in the winter. This all changes in 2006. Now all of Indiana will observe Daylight Savings Time. The vast majority of Indiana will be on Eastern Time, and only a few counties near Chicago will be on Central Time.
