Düsseldorf has a large international airport (http://www.duesseldorf-international.de/). The Airport Cologne/Bonn is about 60 minutes drive away from Düsseldorf, the smaller Airport Weeze about 90 minutes (http://www.airport-weeze.de/). This smaller airport is frequented mainly by low-cost airlines flying to other small airports within Europe. The Airport Düsseldorf-Monchengladbach can be reached within 40 minutes.
